Indian Bollywood Actress Anushka Sharma looked a stunner in Rina Dhaka's Entanglement Sari collection as the designer's show stopper during India Couture Week 2010 Saturday, October 9 in Mumbai.
The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi star wore a burgundy lace sari that had a modern silhouette and heavy embellishments at the pallav. She paired it with a strapless satin bustier choli with a cut-out waist.
This was the model-turned actress' first ramp walk in a sari and she is now motivated enough to stock her wardrobe with saris.
"I hope to wear more saris from now on," Anushka, 22, said after the show.
Anushka Sharma was born 1 May 1988. She is an Indian actress and former model who appears in Bollywood films. In 2008, she made her screen debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, directed by Aditya Chopra.
Sharma was born in Bangalore, but her parents are from Uttarakhand (Uttaranchal). Her father, Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma, is an army officer and her mother Ashima Sharma is a housewife.
Anushka Sharma has an elder brother named Karnesh, who was a state-level cricketer and is now in the Merchant Navy.
She studied in Army School and graduated with specialization in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
Anushka Sharma then moved to Mumbai to further her modeling career, where she currently resides.
